What do punk, buddhism, and imagination have in common? Rob Hopkins!
In this series called MAKING SENSE OF LIFE we talk to different people with different ideas in different languages. Our first guest is Rob Hopkins, the co-founder of the Transition Movement, which promotes grass-root community projects that aim to increase self-sufficiency to reduce the potential effects of peak oil, climate destruction, and economic instability. In this first interview ever from September 16th, 2020, we had the chance to spend time together with Rob talking about a range of topics and his latest book "From What is to What if: Unleashing the Power of Imagination to Create the Future We Want", in which he observes that creativity, imagination, and positive thinking have been in decline for a while. He also asserts that imagination is more important now than ever, and suggests ways our communities can revive and reclaim it.
A big thank you to: CELL (Center for Ecological Learning Luxembourg), especially Marine & Norry for your collaboration in making this interview happen.
