Das Bildkartenset für Kamishibai erzählt die gleichnamige Geschichte von Antje Damm. Das Kamishibai ist ein Erzähltheater in das man die Bildkarten nacheinander einschieben kann. Die besondere Darstellungsform lädt die Kinder zum Betrachten der Illustrationen ein während die Geschichte erzählt oder vorgelesen wird.
Auf der Rückseite jeder Bildkarte befindet sich der entsprechende Text in 4 verschiedenen Sprachen: Deutsch, Französisch, Englisch und Türkisch.
